What if both my partner and I work full time? Can we still homeschool?
Yes, you absolutely can. Homeschooling has literally never been easier than it is right now. There are countless creative options for every family’s unique needs, desires and goals. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Here are a few examples of how some parents are balancing work and homeschool:

How much does homeschooling cost?

I'm not a teacher, can I really be responsible for my child's education?
Absolutely! The truth is, you already are.
You are already the single most influential teacher in your child’s life. And as such, you are uniquely and solely qualified to teach your child. No one knows your child better, loves them more, or is as invested in their future than you — and what more important qualifications are there than that?
Even if you’re not great at grammar, math, or science, these are mere subjects, and subjects can be very easily outsourced (oftentimes for free).
What can’t be outsourced is your role as the single greatest influence in their life. Never underestimate the power your love and devotion has on their ability to learn and grow and thrive.
What is the age range for homeschooling my child?
Homeschool can begin at any age, in any stage, and at any time of year. Whether your child is a toddler, in elementary school, or about to graduate, homeschooling is about meeting them where they’re at, and giving them a meaningful, personalized education. In our program we walk you through every step of how to begin your homeschool journey.
Once the spark of homeschool is ignited within your family, no matter how old your children become, it truly never goes out.
What if my child is already in the school system? How do I take them out?
In the United States, withdrawing your child from school is 100% your right as their parent, and usually much simpler than most families imagine. You do not have to withdraw them at a specified time, you can take them out the moment you choose to.
There are steps you can take to set your homeschool up for success (we cover these in detail in the program). Some of them are:
- Check local laws: some require a withdrawal letter or paperwork;
- Allow time to adjust: learn how “deschooling” can help kids AND their parents transition from a “schooled” mindset to a freer way of living and learning;
- Start slow: there’s no need to rush or replicate school at home;
- And always remember, you can learn and adapt as you go. That’s what homeschooling is all about.
What curriculum should I use?
The sky is the limit! Again, this answer will be very unique to each family. In the program we walk you through the four main types of curriculums, where to find them, and/or how to create them yourself and customize them to your own unique family.
But don’t forget – while academics are important, the goal is not to recreate school at home. In our program we explore holistic ways we can educate our children to prepare them for living their very best lives, including:

Can my children still get into college if they’re homeschooled?

What if my partner doesn’t approve?
This is a tricky situation, but it can absolutely be overcome with a little patience, compassion, and perseverance.
